What year did you enter the industry?

-In 1998 I started working in an Aveda salon as a receptionist. I was soon offered an apprenticeship. I quickly grew to love the industry.

Why did you choose this career?

- I attended an Aveda show in 2000 and I was hooked!

What is your favorite service to perform?

Hand-painted Balayage (Freehand, open air processing)

What services/techniques do you specialize in?

-I specialize in color and cutting. As an Aveda Color specialist with 20 years of experience, I love to hair paint. I also love special event hair, such as weddings and Mardi Gras up-styling.

What is your favorite product?

- Right now, it is the Alfaparf Sublime Oil and the Illuminating Shampoo! But it changes daily.

What has been your favorite education class that you have taken within the last year? How has it impacted you as a professional behind the chair?

The Elevate Hair show this past year! I got to be on stage!

What is something few people know about you?

That I used to play roller derby and I love to create costumes!

What are your hobbies outside of your profession?

Pure Barre, Beach, and Boats!
