Reservations:

Walk-ins are always welcome. However, to ensure that a stylist is available for the service you would like, we recommend calling in advance. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows time to check-in, enjoy a complimentary beverage, change, and begin your experience. We offer complimentary water, coffee, or tea to enjoy with your visit.

Due to our stylists experience and demand, their reservations fill up quickly. Because of this, we recommended reaching out to make an appointment two weeks to a month prior to when you will want to come in. During certain holidays and times of year, it will sometimes fill up further out than that. We also offer a waitlist that is very active and is a way to find last minute appointments.

New guests to Salon West who are interested in receiving color will be asked to put down a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This $50, while not refundable, will be added to your color service when you arrive to your appointment. Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will result in loss of the full deposit amount.

Due to the stylists’ busy schedules, if you are expecting to be late to your appointment we would appreciate a courtesy call to the salon to let us know you are on your way. If by chance you are more than 15 minutes late arriving at your appointment we may ask you to reschedule to not disrupt other guests’ appointment times.

 At Salon West, we try to be as efficient with our scheduling as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes services require more time than expected, we will try to give a courtesy call to clients when stylists are running late, but in some cases, we can not foresee the issue, please be aware that each guest has different needs and in some cases, the stylist might be running late.  We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Confirming your Appointment

Once an appointment is made, you will receive a text or an email to confirm the appointment two days prior along with a call the day before. If the appointment is not confirmed, it is subject to be canceled at the stylist’s discretion.

Cancellations

At Salon West, we strive to ensure the utmost enjoyable experience for our Guests and Team members. The Salon West team understands that sometimes there are unavoidable circumstances that can conflict with your scheduled appointment and therefore cause you to cancel.

As a courtesy to our guests and team members, we ask that any cancellations and rescheduling be given 24 hours’ notice of your already scheduled appointment. Any cancellation made after the 24 hours required cancellation period will be subject to a 50% charge of your service fee. Missed appointments with no courtesy call are subject to a charge in the full amount of the service. The salon offers an email and text reminder for your scheduled appointments.

*Please note: You will receive a text/email confirmation 48 hours before your appointment. The text and an email confirmation will require you to click a link/button to confirm your appointment. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you “call” the salon to cancel and reschedule for another date.

Late cancellations and missed appointments leave gaps in the stylist’s schedules that cannot be filled without timely notice. This 24-hour courtesy notification enables us to schedule other clients, and in turn, maintains the availability of services for you and other salon guests.

*Please note: No-shows may require a deposit to schedule a new appointment and hold the time slot on the stylists’ schedule.

Children

We are a family oriented salon and would love to service you and your children! However, we ask that children stay home when they are not receiving services. We wish to keep Salon West a relaxing experience for you and our other guests receiving services at that time.

Pets

While we love our furry friends, we must ask to keep any animals out of the salon per our health code. Service Animals are always welcome.

Satisfaction Policy:

We want all guests to be happy with the experience and service that they receive. Please let us know within 7 days if you are not satisfied with your results. If any additional time passes, there is a chance of another service charge.

Our stylists work on a level system, which means our pricing for hair services is tiered to reflect their expertise, level of advanced training, and the client demand for time and services. Our pricing structure allows our guests the opportunity to enjoy the experience at pricing levels that suit their best needs. When making your appointment, please feel free to inquire about pricing with our front desk staff. During your consultation with your stylist, they will be able to discuss pricing before services are performed. 

Student Services Disclaimer:

At Salon West, we're committed to fostering the growth and development of future stylists through our student training program. We offer select services at reduced prices when performed by our students. It's important to note that while these services come at a lower cost, they may differ in quality and time management compared to those provided by our licensed stylists.

Quality Assurance:

Our student stylists are under the supervision of experienced educators who ensure that services meet our standards of quality. However, please understand that as they are in the process of learning, there may be variations in the results compared to those achieved by our seasoned professionals.

Time Management:

Due to the learning curve involved, appointments with student stylists may require additional time compared to appointments with licensed professionals. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our students work diligently to perfect their craft.

Your Feedback Matters:

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any concerns or feedback regarding your experience with a student stylist, please don't hesitate to share it with us. Your input helps us continually improve our services and training programs.

Booking with Licensed Stylists:

For those seeking the highest level of expertise and efficiency, we recommend booking appointments with our licensed stylists. While these services may come at a higher price point, they guarantee a premium experience and results.

Open Chair Policy:

In an environment like Salon West, you have the freedom to try any or all of our stylists. We as a team collectively agree that your satisfaction is what matters the most. You may choose at any time to change to a different stylist based on a variety of reasons- schedules, prices or just to get a different perspective. Therefore, our solution is to relieve any anxieties that you may have about changing stylists. Please feel free to ask our opinion on a stylist who is best suited and matched to fit your individual needs. Any formulas are easily transferred and discussed between stylists, so no worries on having to restart!
